Lievezza is a rare Italian word. You'll find it in the historic Vocabolario della Crusca and in the dictionaries of classical music, where it means one thing: lightness, delicacy, gentleness. Musicians use it to describe a passage that should be played softly, effortlessly — as if it weighed nothing at all.
We believe walking should feel exactly like that.
Why we exist
Most of us spend hours every day on our feet — commuting, working, wandering through the city, chasing a sunset on the coast. And yet, so much footwear seems designed for the shelf, not for the street: stiff, heavy, beautiful for an hour and painful by the afternoon.
Lievezza was created to close that gap. We curate footwear where comfort is not an afterthought but the starting point — shoes with cushioned soles, breathable materials and shapes that respect the way feet actually move. Pieces you put on in the morning and forget you're wearing by night.
How we choose
We are a curated, multi-brand store. Every model in our collection is selected against three simple questions:
